Figurative & Literal Language.

           This week for writing we learned about Figurative & Literal Language.

What figurative & literal language?

Figurative language is a sentence with a hidden message like the house is red.

Literal is a sentence has  no hidden messages like I've got your back. .

We were Leaning about Simile,Metaphor,Hyperbole,Personification,Understatement,

Simile is a sentence comparing something using like or as.

Metaphor is comparing two things without using like or as.

Hyperbole is when you exaggerate an emotion or event.

Understatement is when expression with less strength than expected.

Personification is giving humans trait and qualities.
