Swimming/Tearm 3 session 1

Today year six had their first session for swimming.They learned lots of thing for their first swimming lesson.Their first swimming lesson was how to do a swimming pool entry.Doing the pool entry you have to sit on you bottom and put your hands where it is a plat form next to you then you twist your body to see if the pool is deep or not deep.

They learned many thing like:

• Safe pool entry
• Freestyle
• Streamline
• Float board
• Side stroke
• Dolphin dive

Freestyle is when you put your hands at the back of your head and move back and forward.

Streamline is when you put to wide arms behind your ears like a mermaid.

Float board is something that helps as swim.

Dolphin dive is when you swim like a mermaid.

Tangrams

Today  I learned how to make a tangrams.I rearranged the pieces to make animal shapes.
First I made a square piece of paper because tangrams are made with a big square.Then I folded  the square into a various shapes and cut them out. Lastly, I tried to make different animal shapes from the tangram pieces.

I challenge my self to make a tangram in to a square.

This week we are learning about Right there question,Think and search, Author and you, And on my own question.

We are learning and putting  sentences in order to see if it goes in the right place.we put sentences in to  Right there question,Think and search, Author and you, And on my own question.


Right there question is when you find the answer in the book.

Think and search is in different place to find the answer.

Author and you is not in the book but can use your prier knowledge to get the answer.

on my own question is using your own words to get the answer.

Kiwi sport / vollyball

This week for vollyball we learnd about how to dig.

First put your left foot in the frount and your right foot at the back.

Next put your hands  together and put your thums together.

And only use your dig when the ball is going  down.

Maori

This week  we are doing maori.Our maori task was about traslating words.

 ko te Ramiri te ne na. Te rua teka ma ono o pipiri".This mean friday the 26 of june 2020.

The task I had to do was translating words in to dates numbers and wheather.

Writing / Information report.

This week we are learning about information report.Information report structure is Title,Information,Itroduction,and Conclusion.

I found some facts about stingray.The fact I found was about stingray is when they live in warm warter and in the deep end ocean.

Math /Coding / Measurements / Angles / coding

This week we were learning about Coding,Measurements and Angles.Angles is the space measured in degrees between two intersecting lines or surfaces at or close to the point where they meet.

In two's we had to play this game called Go Home.We used protractionand a ten sided dice and a ruler and a pencill to help us mark where  to and what number 

The first person roll the dice two time to see what number they have to travel.Next you have to measure what number you got.
