Experiment

This week we  learnt about experiments. We had to find the absorbency of different materials. Experiments are used to find facts or events.

First, we chose  1 material to make a experiment. The material that was chosen was sand.

Next we measured 100ml of the water in a beaker. Then we had to add 5  drops of food coloring.

Then we put a container on to a scale, then check if the arrow is on the zero, then we measured 50g of sand on the scale.

Lastly we poured the water  in to the material to see how much water has been absorbed or  un-absorbed.

It helped me conducted a experiment.
