Maori

This week  we are doing maori.Our maori task was about traslating words.

 ko te Ramiri te ne na. Te rua teka ma ono o pipiri".This mean friday the 26 of june 2020.

The task I had to do was translating words in to dates numbers and wheather.

Writing / Information report.

This week we are learning about information report.Information report structure is Title,Information,Itroduction,and Conclusion.

I found some facts about stingray.The fact I found was about stingray is when they live in warm warter and in the deep end ocean.

Math /Coding / Measurements / Angles / coding

This week we were learning about Coding,Measurements and Angles.Angles is the space measured in degrees between two intersecting lines or surfaces at or close to the point where they meet.

In two's we had to play this game called Go Home.We used protractionand a ten sided dice and a ruler and a pencill to help us mark where  to and what number 

The first person roll the dice two time to see what number they have to travel.Next you have to measure what number you got.

LI-To learn and to summarize and to locate keywords.

Today we are learning about verb,adjective,nouns.

We learnd about key words and puting key words into verbs,adjetive,and nouns.

Verb is something you can  touch.

adjective i when you describe something.

noun is something that you can't touch.

Summeriseing is telling the main idea of something.

QAR

This week we were learning  about QAR questions.

The 4 important QAR questions are think and search,right there,  on my own,  and author and you.

Think and search is when the book has the answer but its in diffrent places to find it.

Right there question is when you see the answer and you can point to it.

On my own question is not in the book or text but you may have a answer

Author and you means when the answer is not in the book but you can find the answer by using backround knowledge and link it to the story.

LI- To pose question ,and locate the answer in the text.

light and sound vocabulary.

Light is energy that makes things visble.sounds are words that can be heard.

First we had to match words from a list with defntion .We use 3 typs of dictionary to help as.

Next we did the draw,act,find and anmate.

After that my group did prism for draw. We did the anamation of vibration.We also did a video to show what transparent means.

I learnt spesific meaning and action by doing this activity.

Homophones,Homonyms,Homographr.

Homonyms are words having the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings.

Homogragh are words spelled the same but not pronounced the same.

I learnd that homonyms are two words  having the same words.
I learnd that homogragh are words that  necessarily pronounced the same.
