Math/Length of pencils in LS1

LI:to identify the number before and after numbers from 100-1000.
This week for math we had to make graft.

The first thing we did was to get a math book and make a steam and leaf graph.Then our teacher gave as 10 pencils and a ruler to measure the pencils to put it on in our books then we had to go to other groups to get there numbers to put in our book.

This week for Maori we had to complete four tasks in a group.


#Task 1:

Task 1 was called Nga Atua for this task we had to match the gods in Maori to their english.


#Task 2:

Task 2 was called Whakapakehatia for this task we had to watch a video about this boy named Sione and we also had to translate the Maori words to the english


What we had to do was to do activity.

LI; to respect yourself

This week for Kiwi Can it was our first session so we have new leaders Mr  manu & Mr latu.

For our energizer we played a game called Fruity Tott, how to play this game is there is a caller that calls out these fruits apple, orange and banana, if the caller calls out apple then you take a step back same with orange but taking a step back and lastly with the banana you turn 80 degrees around.


For our Activity was played was called Truth or Lie, how you play this game is the there is a caller that calls out a True thing about them self and something that a lie about them. There are 2 sides the represents the truth or lie if we got it correct then we got 1 point for the class. 

The Bag of Smiles

LI we are learning how to ask question.

This week for reading we are doing a quiz  master.And the book i'm reading is the bag of smiles.

What we had to do was that we had to make a quiz master and pick a book from sunshine classic and i pick the bag of smiles.Then we had to make a quiz master.On the quiz master we have to make question about the book but not coping just making own sentences with there book i'm reading.

rugby profile

LI: to apply our inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the Rugby World Cup

For this activity we had to pick Rugby Player from the Rugby World Cup and we had to make a profile on them. Like when they were born, their height, weight, their position. We also had to put a picture in and some facts about them.The player we picked was Sonny Bill Williams. He is a former New Zealand boxer and former league player.
