kiwi can

This week for kiwi can is about role models and role models is when someone stick up to you. I chooes my pearents because they looked after me and also keeped me safe and my sibling.


Our enegizer was "Hammer"  how to play you have to have a partner then  put hand on hand  like a rock.After that we a kiwi can learder has to say down then the person on the top has to put the hand under the person hand  then if  the kiwi can leader says hammer then you have to move your hane before the top hand  smach the person underneth the hand.

What was fun was practising role models and to listin and to learn new games.

 

The First Waka

Orignally there were no people in new zealand.The first people to sattle in New Zealand  came in a Series of Waka.

The first  Ten Waka were  named,Kurahaupo,Takitimu,Mataatua.

Most of the waka visted the North Island.Some of the places the waka landed were,Turanganui-a-Kiwa -    (Gisborne),Awanui,Kaitaia,

The ten waka came to New Zealand to dicover new lands for people to live.

Counting On In 10's | Maths

This week we created a thinkboard.What we were doing was we has to write a story problem and to draw a digram or  a number line. I knew the answer by counting on in 10 so i did 38,48,58,68,78,88. And the anwer was 88.

Kupe & Captain James Cook Early new zealand exploers.

Kupe and Captain Cook were  2  inportant exploers in new zealand history.

Kupe’s voyage was triggered by the lack of sea life near his village .

kupe arrived in nz in the 1100s.He travelled by traditianal methods on a traditional sail boat.

Myth Kupe followed a giant octopus.He did this voage to find new land for his people.

I have understood that Kupe was the first man to arrived to NZ. This voyage was on accident and that one day an octopus was eating all of the fish near his village so his tribe was not able to eat. Kupe followed the octopus on a 'poti' and instead he found New Zealand. His wife named it Aotearoa which in Maori means ‘Land of the long white cloud’. This happened in the 1100’s.  

Kupe is important beacause he was the first documenteal person in nz.
captain cook is inportant because he mapped nz and opend it up to the world to access. 

Basic Fact Challenges 2020

This week for basic fact i did the demound up to 10. i  got 2 wrong in 23 minutes and 48 secounds.
I will know now to get all of it all right and be faster.

Exploers & Andventeres

Exploers & Andventeres are people who travel and discaver new thing.

Exploers are people who travel to find new thing and record them for the community such as Sir Edmund Hillary and Captain James Cook,Sir Peter Blake,David Livingstone,Sacagawea,

Andventeres are people who travel to take  part in something for themselvs such as
 Moana,Robert Ballard.

Exploers and Andventeres need to  have or show many diffrent attidute and attribute such as Caring is It’s important to be caring because you can get rewarded.Inquirer is It’s important to ask questions so the person will know what to do.

Both Exploers & Andventeres travel to new plays and need similar qualities although their goals are different.

Legal and illegal images

A legal image  that can be used with permission by law.

Images creators give legal permission to use their images by addding a sharing license.

It is inportant to use legal images to help creators, and so  users don't get in trouble.

One way to using free images.
when using images , make sure to cheak the license for permission.

R-This week we had to use our book Gliders and sliders.
E-First we needed to read our book .
Next we needed to make a list of the keywords and lastly we need to think of all the information that word unlocks as a reminder.

E-Reflection.
i feel like reading should be the one that can go all aroud the contris that know how to read and to expoler.
I enjoyed that reading is good because it can make you enjoy other book the your interstead in.
I learnt that if you read lots of book everytimes then that means your good at telling people about that book so other people know to go and read it.
