Activity 2 

I really like the Auckland City becauce it is cool. My favoutive part about my city is the sky tower. I have been there recently with my class to learn about towers. Another building that I like is Haurbour bridge. I know that in 1918 people needed to pay a toll to be able to go over the bridges.

These my 3 favourite fun facts about NZ: 

1.The official language is English and Maori.

 2.The Maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa which means the land of the long white cloud

3.New Zealanders love cars with 2.5 million cars for 4 million people making them one of the countries to have the highest car ownership rate in the world.

Christmas is a fun time of the year.

On Christmas most families put up a real or
fake christmas tree before 25th of December.
My parents don’t want to buy us a christmas
tree because my little sister might destroy it.
Some people don’t need to buy a christmas
tree.

All christmas morning my family comes over
to have christmas breakfast. We have yummy
pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries
on top.

In the afternoon my family says a prayer
before we eat dinner.Our dinner is always so
nice.

We get lots of presents and all my cousins
open their presents with us. Last year they got
trucks, lego, shoes, t-shirts and pants.

I know that this year Christma day will be a fun
day for everyone.
